Vittorio Bollo was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. He finished his schooling in Portugal and thereafter obtained his LL.B in Law and Politics at the University of Birmingham in England. He was able to win a full two-year scholarship to undertake an LL.M in International Environmental Law at the University of Calgary in Canada. He decided to emigrate back to South Africa, where he worked in the occupational risk management field in South Africa for nearly twenty years. Today he is a freelance writer, researcher and content developer based in Europe.
Public speaking has been a part of Vittorio’s life since he was a young boy at primary school. His first speech competition was at age 10, which he won. The topic was Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone, and he was hooked! He would go on to represent his high schools at various inter-school debating competitions. He immediately joined the debating society an an undergraduate at university in England, for which he competed at debating competitions at the universities of Oxford, Cambridge and Edinburgh.
